01
Editorial integrity & fact-checking
Our films are only as credible as their facts. Research and verification are built into development, not added in the edit.
Verification
Factual claims are checked against primary sources and independently corroborated wherever possible.
Research lead
Our investigative journalist leads research, fact-checking and editorial review.
Translation
Interviews in Bengali and other local languages are transcribed, translated and independently checked.
Fairness
People and organisations facing significant criticism are offered a fair opportunity to respond.
Broadcaster codes
We work to each commissioning broadcaster's editorial guidelines and the regulatory codes that apply.
Corrections
Errors are acknowledged and corrected promptly.
02
Safety & duty of care
Bangladesh is our home ground, and we plan for its real risks — rivers, weather, crowds and the seasons.

Fair arrangements
Arrangements for contributors' time and expenses agreed openly and in advance.
