This notice explains what personal information Beyond Border Docs ([REGISTERED COMPANY NAME], “we”) collects through this website and how we use it. Questions: [EMAIL].
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we store your name, company, role, email address and message, so that we can reply. We also store a one-way coded version of your IP address to block spam; we do not store the address itself.
- Screener viewers. If you are invited to our private screening room, we record your name, organisation, the email address we invited, when you signed in, whether you accepted any confidentiality terms, and which videos and documents you opened or downloaded.
- Cookies. We use one essential session cookie, only on forms, the screening room and the admin area, to keep them secure. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Embedded video. Showreels and trailers are played from Vimeo or YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode). These services may process data under their own privacy policies when you press play.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] unless they lead to a working relationship. Screener access records are kept for up to [RETENTION PERIOD] after a screener closes.
Who can see it
Only our team. We do not sell or share your details. Our website host, [HOSTING PROVIDER], stores the data on our behalf.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by writing to [EMAIL]. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
